Have you tried turning on the "disk mode" setting on the BB? I mount the MicroSD card on my Mac without any additional software.

Hello,

The new Blackberry8800 is a nice phone. However I haven't been able to get the micro SD media card to shw up on my computer or in the Desktop Manager v4.3. I have exhausted the Blackberry knowledgebase. My opinion is that the Blackberry support sucks!

After writing this article, I thought I had better check out the 8300. It looks like it adds the camera which I had hoped for, but I am not crazy about the case, color, design. This pictorial walkthrough does show some of the new features coming in OS 4.2.2. I hope they make this OS available for the 8800 as an upgrade.
